Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as required.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist in the administration of medications and treatments under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and common areas.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Monitor and report changes in patient's conditions to the appropriate medical staff.
- Assist with documentation and medical record maintenance as required.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and calmness.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing healthcare practices.
- Current CPR and first aid certification (preferred but can be obtained after hiring).
